By respecting what's alive in the vineyard and the cellar, and by paying close attention to every gesture, we reveal the many facets of these emblematic Loire Valley grape varieties. Les Joueurs
Our lowlands are not monolithic to the casual observer. They offer subtle variations and sometimes unexpected tones for Cabernet Franc grapes.
Les Lutteurs
Cabernet Franc from the "La Bellonnière" and "Doulaie" plots. The wines here have a muscular, energetic, sanguine profile. This impetuosity is subtly sharpened by prolonged ageing in large oak containers.
Les Bâtisseurs
Cabernet Franc from the "La Bâtisse" and "La Petite Forêt" plots. A singular, atypical wine with delicate fruit from vines of different ages on flinty clay soils. Discreet ageing in large wooden tuns adds depth and prepares the wine to stand the test of time.
Les Grands Bournais
Chenin Blanc from a parcel-by-parcel selection of young vines planted on clay and sandstone soil, at the top of a small hill overlooking the commune of Brizay. An epicurean, voluptuous wine, fresh and delicious.
La Croix Boissée
Chenin Blanc planted on an iconic site in the appellation. Renowned for its white and red wines, La Croix Boissée is a south-facing hillside, with yellow and white tufa soils that give the wine substance and a tonic signature.
