Les Bâtisseurs
Cabernet Franc from the "La Bâtisse" and "La Petite Forêt" plots. A singular, atypical wine with delicate fruit from vines of different ages on flinty clay soils. Discreet ageing in large wooden tuns adds depth and prepares the wine to stand the test of time.

Emotion
Les Bâtisseurs stands out as the signature cuvée of Domaine de la Chapelle. On the vineyard's oldest soils, composed of flinty clay and marl, the Cabernet Franc grapes produce a rare, delicate fruit. Single plot vinification in cement vats and long ageing in 400 L barrels, also performed separately for each plot, protect this delicate fruit while adding depth to the wine.
A wine of exacting standards and patience, Les Bâtisseurs takes its name from the noble art of building, in a nod to the owner's other activities.
