Emotion
Les Lutteurs is a blend of two distant plots that share the same soil type. Here, the Cabernet Franc grapes have a more muscular, energetic, and full-bodied character, which is tempered by extended aging in large oak vessels. We felt it was appropriate to combine these two plots, which produce full-bodied, robust wines.
It’s the perfect showdown between two athletes, two magnificent wrestlers who embody otherness.

A plot of Chenin Blanc planted in an iconic locality within the appellation. Renowned for both its white and red wines, La Croix Boissée is a south-facing hillside with yellow and white tuffeau soils that give the wine body and a distinctive, lively character.
Chenin Blanc from a plot-selection of young vines planted in clay and sandstone soil, at the top of a small hill overlooking the town of Brizay. As one might expect, this is an epicurean and voluptuous wine—fresh and rich.
